Specialty Interests:

Dr. Boucard is proficient in colonoscopy, polyp removal, upper endoscopy, ERCP and  pH study.  He has received specialized state-of-the-art biliary/pancreatic endoscopy training at UMDNJ.

Dr. Boucard has special interest in treatment of heartburn, gastric pain, gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD), difficulty with swallowing, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), lower abdomen pain and colitis.  He is also proficient in hemorrhoids management and hemorrhoid banding.

He treats all types of liver diseases including Hepatitis B and C, gallbladder disease, abnormal liver blood test and he does fatty liver evaluation.

Dr. Boucard has shown his passion and enthusiasm for Gastro-Enterology and Hepatology by writing many abstracts and made poster presentations at National and International GI meetings.

He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
